My Friend Karla

I received the word a few days ago that Karla has another tumor. This time it's not a breast tumor--it's in her stomach. This time they're not doing chemo--they're doing radiation. She jokes that this is good because she'll get to keep her hair and her tummy is tanned. Oh, how I pray for her healing, her complete healing. May this cancer be eradicated, never to return again. Lord, surely 5 bouts with cancer is enough....

I did a page about her. I cannot express my admiration for her. She is the most courageous and admirable human being I know. I am so proud she calls me friend.
