Weekly Food Fight
Well, we've had our weekly food fight and Joe is off to the grocery store. When I was a kid, Mom would have to go through this with Dad every time she needed a new girdle, but I get to go through it every time it's time to go to the grocery store. I've already turned the grocery shopping over to him. I'm about to turn all food planning and preparation over to him too. I'm just sick of having an argument over what goes on the grocery list. Either he's sure I don't need it or he can't find it at the store. I'm mildly amused with the "can't find it at the store stuff" but the grocery list thing is making me crazy. It's not as though I am extravagant; I plan menus from the weekly sales. I don't buy a lot of expensive prepared foods. I don't ask for filet mignon. And, he can sure strap on the food bag once it's cooked. In fact, the big deal this AM was that I mentioned that pork loin was on sale at Vons for 1.97 a pound. It seems there is pork loin in the freezer. God forbid we would buy more and stock the freezer. I think I'll just live on yogurt and string cheese and Christmas cookies for a while. Just easier all the way around.
Oh, well, enough of that. It doesn't help that I have a headache. But, I've taken some ibuprofen and that will get better soon.
I still have one package to wrap. I'll get that done today.
I've finished printing the next set of wedding pictures. We counted last night; there are approximately 217 of them. I'm now cutting them out. I wish my paper cutter did a better job, but they have to be cut by hand. If my hands hold out, perhaps I can finish today.
Other than that, I think I'll spend the day with one of my new digital scrapbooking books. I have THREE! That should add a smile to my day.
Well, enough for now. Back to my scissors........
